WOW Wineries Mardi Gras Trail

Or in other words, “Party with the Way Out Wineries on the Mardi Gras Road Trip.”

Let the good times roll at this annual celebration! Drive through still-sleeping vineyards to visit cozy wineries who are ready to party down before the grapes start waking up and the hard work begins. Cajun food and WOW wines make this the party of the season. With your road trip ticket, each winery, including our members Wedding Oak Winery and Texas Legato Winery, provides a complimentary wine tasting along with a Cajun or New Orleans style dish to pair with a selected wine. Some dishes you can expect to taste along the trail are red beans and rice, etouffee, gumbo, bread pudding with whiskey sauce, and avocado and shrimp cocktail.

At your first stop, you will collect a logo tasting glass that you will use as you visit the remainder of the eight wineries. At every tasting location, you have the opportunity to draw for doubloons that are good for $1, $2, or $3 off your purchase at that stop. Not to mention, there will be beads galore!!

All wineries will follow local and state laws regarding COVID guidance. All eight wineries also have outdoor seating options available. Hours will be the same for all wineries during February 12-14, 2021: Friday 12-6pm; Saturday 10am-6pm; Sunday 12-5pm.
